To protect the security of your bank accounts, Empower has a number of measures in place to make sure that all transfers are legitimate, and that we have verified that you own the linked account. Occasionally, these security protocols mean that a linked account is not transfer eligible from the Empower app as we cannot verify ownership. Don't worry though, you can still transfer to Empower from the external institution's app or website by using your Empower account and routing numbers (found in the "More" section on the "Banking" screen).
